Allison is a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in holistic care and functional medicine. After facing her own health challenges as a nurse, she realized there must be more to traditional healthcare. This led her to pursue a functional nutritional therapy certificate, igniting her passion for a root-cause approach to healthcare. She later earned her doctorate at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, with a focus on treating the thyroid from a functional medicine perspective, to bring this transformative approach to others.

Her integrative treatment plans combine nutrition adjustments, targeted supplementation, and lifestyle modifications alongside conventional medical treatments for a comprehensive path to healing. Rooted in evidence-based medicine, functional medicine uses advanced diagnostic tools like laboratory tests and imaging to guide treatment decisions, providing a proactive approach to disease prevention and long-term health optimization.

Since 2003, Dr. Cecily Yousaf has been helping couples achieve and maintain pregnancy by integrating Western medical knowledge with Eastern medical techniques, focusing on diet, exercise, and mind/body practices.

She holds undergraduate degrees in psychology and biology. While planning a career in Western medicine, she received acupuncture treatment for an injury that had caused her pain for several months. Remarkably, after just a few sessions, the pain was completely alleviated. This experience led her to switch her studies to Eastern medicine. During her training, when she faced challenges with fertility, Eastern medicine enabled her to conceive and carry two healthy daughters to term.

Dr. Y graduated in 2003 and has focused her practice on fertility since then. She has undergone advanced training in gynecology, including mentorship with Dr. Randine Lewis, the author of “The Infertility Cure.” Dr. Y treats a wide range of gynecological issues and is skilled in all aspects of women’s health, including menstrual irregularities, endometriosis, PCOS, lactation challenges, menopausal symptoms, hormonal imbalances, induction, and breech presentations. She also supports patients undergoing IVF and IUI treatments, among other services.
